In celebration of Marco De Vincenzo‘s first womenswear collection, Etro and Mytheresa hosted an intimate dinner party on 4th of March, during Paris Fashion Week.

Langosteria, in Hotel Cheval Blanc—a place where fine-dining becomes an art form, was chosen as the location for this uber-exclusive gathering. The intimate guest list featured actors, models influences and fashion insiders like Anna Dello Russo, Ashley Graham, Ashley Park, Candice Swanepoel, Karen Wazen and Lana Condor. The A-listers enjoyed a night of refined Italian haute cuisine including paccheri with blue lobster and the Langosteria’s signature cocktail, a take on the classic Negroni, “Speziato”.

As the night progressed—Etro CEO, Fabrizio Cardinali and Mytheresa CEO, Michael Kliger toasted the 44-year-old designer and the friends of the house cheered in unison.

The Sicily-born designer showcased his debut menswear collection in Milan last month. For his womenswear debut in Paris, Marco decided to pay homage to the roots of Etro. Digging deep into the archival textiles of the iconic brand—his latest collection was an amalgamation of Etro’s bohemian-chic aesthetic infused with his signature fabric manipulation techniques. Prints, ruffles, layers, textures in vivid colours displayed a method to his madness. The line represented a new energy, while retaining the authentic design DNA Etro is known for.
