And it’s fabulous for Fall
Continuing to marry sustainability with style, Lebanese shoe designer Emma Boutros has launched her second collection of shoes just in time for Fall.
The wide range of styles, from sparkling heels to boots, each item from AVENUE DES REVE is exclusively and ethically handmade in Lebanon by skilled local artisans, using the finest imported dead stock leathers and fabrics.
“We wanted to create a brand that was least wasteful as possible,” Boutros explains. “By using existing high end stock materials and avoiding the use of new natural resources, we had to be savvy in order to create a beautiful and luxurious product with these limitations.”
Playing on the idea of wearable art, the newest additions embody casual elegance. Some of the shoes are sculpted with ornate fabrics and embellishments, while others feature colour blocking, patchwork, oversized scrunchies, feathers, embossed croc, glitters and velvet.
The collection will be available to shop at AVENUE DES REVE flagship store in Beirut.
