Emmy Awards 2024: Television’s starriest night saw some of the biggest names descending on the red carpet.

While the winner’s list was hardly a mystery, as the Golden Globes winners were almost identical last week, it was interesting to see the turnout from the lens of a fashion enthusiast.

The first question on a red carpet is always a no-brainer, “who are you wearing?” But not on Aubrey Plaza’s watch. In true Aubrey style, she wore a tongue-in-cheek Loewe gown with the brand’s name etched on the outfit like a giant post it.

Acing pregnancy style like she lately has been, singer-actor-model Suki Waterhouse walked the red carpet in a scarlet Valentino gown with a giant bow gracing the bump.

As an overview, most celebrities were seen dressed in shades of red and black, which is perfect for black-tie. Except, for fashion rebel Jessica Chastain – the Marriage Story actor showed up in a custom-made, neon Gucci gown.
