Emirates continues to resume service to its wide network of destinations and from September 8 you will once again be able to fly to Amman, Jordan.

The latest announcement takes the number of destinations Emirates serves in the Gulf and the Middle East to eight cities.

Flights from Dubai to Amman will operate daily on the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER, departing from at 3pm from Dubai and landing at 4.55pm. Travellers can return on EK 904 that will leave Amman at 7pm, landing back in Dubai at 11pm. The schedule also allows passengers travelling between the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Asia Pacific to connect via Dubai.

Remember that COVID-19 PCR tests are mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving in Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.

Emirates also understands that travel plans can change suddenly, so if you book a flight by September 30 2020 for travel on or before November 3o 2020,  you can take advantage of the  new rebooking terms and options.

Emirates has also committed to cover COVID-19 related medical expenses, free of cost, should you be diagnosed with coronavirus during travel. This cover is immediately effective for those flying on Emirates until October 31 2020 (first flight has to be completed on or before October 31 2020) and is valid for 31 days from the moment you fly the first part of you journey. This means you can continue to benefit from the added assurance of this cover, even if you travel onwards to another city after arriving at an Emirates destination.

All passengers also receive a hygiene kit containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes.
