Emirates Airline has announced it’s relaunching flights to seven cities, adding to their ever-growing destination pool post-pandemic.
This latest addition of seven destinations brings the airline’s total 48, which now includes cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
From next month the flights will recommence to the following cities: Khartoum, Sudan (July 3), Amman, Jordan (July 5), Osaka, Japan (July 7), Narita, Japan (July 8), Athens, Greece (July 15), Larnaca, Cyprus (July 15) and Rome, Italy (15 July).
This comes after authorities announced Dubai would be able to welcome tourists back from July 7. All those intending to travel to Dubai present a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival, or undergo a test at the airport.
As well as a negative COVID-19 test, visitors must be prepared to follow the stringent guidelines in place for travelling to Dubai.
This includes having valid health insurance; filling out the health declaration form for entering the country; download the COVID-19 DXB app; and be aware airlines have the right to refuse passengers boarding if they suspect they may have COVID-19.
Last week, Emirates also posted a video in partnership with Dubai Tourism honing in on the message that the city is open for business.
“This city has its arms wide open, and they are open for you,” the uplifting video stated.
This latest relaunch of flights for Emirates is a positive sign for the travel industry, and how the world is slowly but surely returning to normal.
