Emirates is launching a brand new cabin class and it’s set to be a gamechanger.
For the first time, the Dubai-based airline will be unveiling its full Premium Economy offering from next month.
The new cabin class will be available for Emirates passengers on its popular A380 routes to London, Paris and Sydney from the beginning of August, with tickets being available to book from June 1, 2022.
Set to be “a signature experience unmatched in the industry”, per Dubai Media Office, the new cabin class will change the travel game for many passengers.
Emirates Premium Economy will feature its own dedicated check-in area at Dubai International Airport; spacious and comfortable cream leather seats on-board in a 2-4-2 configuration in the A380; an unmatched in-flight dining experience featuring elements from business class; and 5,000 channels of music, movies, TV, news and other content to keep you entertained at 40,000 feet.

As explained by Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, “minute attention [has been] given to every aspect of the customer experience” to create this new revolutionary cabin class.
“Since we first introduced our Premium Economy seats in January 2021, the positive response and demand has been tremendous,” he said. “We currently have six A380s equipped with this cabin class, which limits our initial deployment, but our intention is to offer this experience to many more markets across our network.
“This November, we will begin our retrofit programme to install Premium Economy on 67 A380s and 53 Boeing 777s. At the end of the programme, Emirates will have 126 aircraft fitted out with Premium Economy cabins, as well as our latest interiors across other cabins. It is a major investment to ensure our customers continue to have the best experience in the sky.”
Emirates Premium Economy will officially launch in August with tickets going on sale in June.
