Cause one dress is never enough
Last weekend, British singer Ellie Goulding and her art dealer partner Caspar Jopling, tied the knot. The two wed in a beautiful and traditional ceremony at York Minster in the United Kingdom. But, if you think that the Love Me Like You Do star’s wedding wardrobe consisted of only one dress, then you are deeply mistaken. The 32-year-old wore four wedding dresses, because apparently one is not enough anymore…
Ellie walked down the aisle in a very traditional white dress, custom-made dress by Chloé’s Natacha Ramsay-Lévi for the ceremony. As simple as it might have looked, the long-sleeve, high neck dress featured several delicate details. The Victorian gown was embroidered with one-of-a-kind details, including White Roses of York and glass beads. According to the brand’s Instagram account the dress took 640 hours to perfect. Meanwhile, the silk tulle veil, which features the couple’s initials, required 590 hours.

But this magical dress was only the beginning for the singer. Taking a page of Megan Markle’s book, Elie opted for a Stella McCartney dress for her second look. For the reception, held at Castle Howard, the 32-year-old slipped into a white off-shoulder column gown, which featured a thigh-high slit. She completed the look with a pair of Bulgari diamond earrings.

For the third look, Ellie ditched the dresses for pants. She sported a white jumpsuit, which featured a heavily beaded top and a matching head-band from British brand Ralph & Russo. The Burn singer sported this look for her first dance with her new husband, Caspar Jopling – and to cut the cake.

The final look of the night was more of fun-party look. Ellie wrapped things in a voluminous mini-dress from Balmain’s spring/summer 2019 collection.
Congrats to the beautiful couple!
