Expect a huge turn-out

Elissa is set to take the stage at Global Village, Dubai on February 1st. The concert, which is accessible for only AED 15, is scheduled to start at 9pm.

This is not the singers first time at Global Village. Last February, Elissa collapsed during her performance there and had to be carried offstage. A few months later, the pop-star shocked the world when she revealed that she has spent the last year battling breast cancer.

The singer shared her journey through the Ila Kol Elli Bihebbouni music video. The seven-minute clip begins by showing Elissa undergoing an MRI scan on December 26, 2017, narrated with poignant voice recordings from the star. It took us through the singer’s journey, and the ups and downs on her road to recovery.

The 46-year-old, who has since made a full recovery, has been praised for speaking out bravely and spreading awareness. Earlier this week, Elissa spoke at the Dubai Health Forum’s session on breast cancer awareness. She took to Instagram to share her express her gratitude for being part of the event, saying, “Before the Dubai health forum for the session about breast cancer awareness. A beautiful event in this beautiful city.”

The singer aims to encourage positivity and resistance when it comes to cancer. She wants people to be able to speak up, to influence others. “We do make a change when we have the will,” she captioned one of her photos.
