The Eid Al-Adha holiday has been announced, we now know that we will be getting an extra-long weekend. It wouldn’t be a celebration without fireworks. So, if you are in the world for an incredible show, head over to Dubai Festival City on August 11 and 12. The fireworks will take place IMAGINE, the incredible water, lights and laser show that takes place daily at Dubai Festival City. They have designed a show especially for the Eid Al Adha celebrations, with two shows per night at 8pm and 10pm respectively.

The indie band from Manchester, are set to make their Middle Eastern debut in Dubai, this coming August. The four-piece British band will take to the stage on Wednesday August 14, with tickets on sale from Wednesday June 12 at 5 pm, available from the1975dxb.com. Their concert, will be part of their current world tour, and they are are set to release their fourth studio album this summer. So, fans will likely also be treated to some new material when the group take to the stage in August.

Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram will be returning to Dubai this summer for a Eid concert that you wouldn’t want to miss. The Bedna Nwala El Gaw singer will be joined by Iraqi singer Saif Nabeel on August 15 in Dubai World Trade Centre. General admission for the show starts from AED 95, with royal tier tickets available for AED 695. From August 9 to 10, Cinema Akil will be hosting a special feline-themed mini film festival. So, if you are a cat lover, head over to Alserkal Avenue and enjoy five feature films about and/or starring cats.
