Cairo-based designer Jude Benhalim fuses art with jewellery-making which results in contemporary design meeting Oriental Arabic craft, with sharp edges and an architectural aesthetic.

She first discovered her love for jewellery at the age of 17 when she decided to create few beaded pieces for her high school graduation diploma. The reaction was overwhelming, as was the feeling of seeing her sketches come to life so right there and then she decided on this as her career.

Benhalim is keen to empower the women who wear her pieces through the use of striking colours and unique silhouettes, while also keeping in mind the Middle Eastern influences. As a result, she hopes that her jewellery will give women confidence to showcase their personality.

For Ramadan, she has joined forces with The Doodle Factory to turn children’s original doodles into creative boxes. With every Jude Benhalim purchase during the holy month, a helping hand will be extended to fund a child’s tuition fees for the coming academic year.

Our top pick are the Sand Dunes hooped earrings that wave underneath the lobe giving an illusion of movement.
