IN PARTNERSHIP: As we head into the prime season of Dubai, the best restaurants in the emirate are gearing up for the busiest time of the year.

Offering something new as the cooler weather arrives, a plethora of fine-dining havens in Dubai have launched a new dinner series in partnership with Élite Sommelier UAE and African + Eastern.

The dinner series will include some of the most sought-after luxury fine-dining names such as LPM Restaurant & Bar, Il Borro Tuscan Bistro, COYA, CLAP, Alici, Amazonico and more.

During the dinner series, expert sommeliers will help guests pair the best beverage to perfectly complement each dish on the menu.

 

As customers are constantly in a scrupulous search for the ultimate pairing, learning from the expert sommeliers will allow one to lay back and relish a meal without the unnecessary hassle.

On September 12, 2021, signature Italian concept, Il Ristorante by Niko Romito at Bvlgari Resort, will host an evening with Beverage Manager, Saki Takase from the venue. The winery of the evening will be Tenuta dell’Ornellaia from Tuscany, Italy.

The botanical-themed restaurant, Amazonico, which is all set to open its doors this season, will conduct an enticing evening of pairings on September 19, 2021, with Samuel Lacroix, the head sommelier. The pairing will include Bodega Catena Zapata from Mendoza, Argentina.

Known for emulating that Côte d’Azur feel, LPM Restaurant & Bar, will host a relaxing evening on September 26, 2021, with expert Gregg Lambert, featuring Domaine Parent from Burgundy, France.

By bringing a piece of Italy to Dubai, Il Borro Tuscan Bistro will conduct a highly anticipated evening of culinary delight on October 3, 2021, featuring the restaurant’s namesake wine – Il Borro from Tuscany, Italy.

Then on October 10, 2021, Peruvian haven COYA, is set to host a delicious evening of fine dining and fine wine as guests learn from Volodymyr Gunin about Achaval Ferrer from Mendoza, Argentina.

Alici, based on Bluewaters Island, will then transport you to the Amalfi Coast, guests can enjoy a laid-back evening on October 17, 2021 with Eleonora Caso, who’ll pair Gaja from Piedmont, Italy with a lavish menu.

The penultimate night in the Élite Sommelier UAE and African + Eastern dinner series will be a sensory Japanese experience at CLAP. It will offer a unique night, pairing Dassai Sake from Yamaguchi Japan, on October 24, 2021, with Jeandre Du Toit.

Lastly, the gastronomical delight, Tresind Studio and sommelier Thomas Johns from Atlantis Dubai will host an experimental night to end the experience with an impact, on October 31, 2021, with CVNE from Spain.

Priced at Dhs800, this selection of exquisite one-of-a-kind experiences will include a set dining menu, accompanied by wine pairings, with availability for up to ten guests per event.
