The ultimate guide to this weekend in Dubai – March 11 to March 13, 2022.
Visit Art Dubai
Art Dubai is back and it’s bigger than ever. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Art Dubai launched in 2007 and it’s back for its 15th instalment. This year Art Dubai is welcoming over 100 exhibitors – of which 30 are participating for the very first time – from 44 countries. The fair will highlight international centres and emerging art scenes including museum-quality works by 20th-century masters from across the Middle East. The programme will be a platform for art enthusiasts to examine the worlds of digital artefacts, virtual reality and crypto economies, in this day and age. On Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12, Art Dubai will be open from 2pm to 9pm and on Sunday, March 13, it’s open from 12pm to 6pm.

An intense workout class

If you’re looking for a new workout to try, then this intense class by Barry’s Bootcamp is sure to work every muscle in your body. Say hello to Barry’s LIFT. This is a dedicated strength class designed to complement the work done in the original Red Room by building muscle mass and concentrating on form. As a 50 -minute class, LIFT is entirely different from a standard Barry’s class, moving at a slower pace so you can lift heavier. Using dumbbells, benches and resistance bands, LIFT is more about savouring your resistance. LIFT starts with a five-minute warmup and is followed by a series of rounds, in nine and five-minute intervals. Book in at one of the fitness studios around Dubai.
