Dubai has ranked in the top five best cities in the world for expats to live and work in for 2021.

In another survey recently published, the UAE ranked top when it comes to the welfare and security of its residents.

Per Gallup’s 2021 Global Law and Order report, 95 per cent of the country’s residents feel safe, especially when walking alone at night, allowing them to top the charts in this category.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared his pride over this declaration.

Sharing his delight on social media His Highness noted how safe the UAE was for women and how they can walk home, be it day or night, “without fear”.

“According to the Gallup Report for Security and Order 2021, the UAE is the first in the world, for the number of residents who feel safe walking alone at night,” he said.

“Security is a blessing and safety is tranquillity. If a woman wanders alone at any hour of the day or night without fear, she knows that she is in the Emirates.”
