Dubai Fashion Week’s Autumn/Winter 24-25 edition, kickstarted on February 4, 2024 and will continue up until February 8, 2024.

Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District (d3), emphasized the city’s growing influence in the global fashion industry. “The world is beginning to see the incredible talent, creativity, diversity, and opportunity that Dubai offers. Our commitment remains to nurture a prolific fashion ecosystem in Dubai and the wider region, providing designers with a gateway to new markets, opportunities, and audiences,” she stated.
DFW’s strategic move to advance its Autumn/Winter dates aims to attract global attention early in the fiscal year. Mohammed Aqra, Chief Strategy Officer of the Arab Fashion Council, explained, “By shifting the dates, we position ourselves strategically before New York Fashion Week, creating an optimal window for global visibility and buyers’ attendance. We assure that we will re-meet the global buyers and industry experts again at the end of the season in Paris.”
The success of DFW’s previous editions, including the October showcase featuring renowned names like Carolina Herrera and Naomi Campbell, has solidified Dubai’s reputation as a global fashion destination. The October edition set the bar high with an exclusive presentation by Carolina Herrera and a runway appearance by supermodel Naomi Campbell for Rizman Ruzaini.
“The October edition garnered much interest, and AW24-25 promises to be an unforgettable journey filled with inspiration, innovation, and style,” remarked Mohammed Aqra. Fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders can anticipate an array of high-profile fashion shows, exclusive events, curated showrooms, capsule launches, brand activations, networking opportunities, and insightful panel discussions during the upcoming DFW AW24-25.
