Adding to your lineup of fabulous fragrances is the latest launch from Dubai-based perfume house Arcadia. Named ‘Bounded’, the new warming scent was created to celebrate the opening of the brand’s flagship store.
The limited edition fragrance created by founder Amna Al Habtoor features saffron, rhubarb and honey top notes, while the heart contains rose absolute, Turkish rose, carnation and toffee, and the base notes are made up of amber, oud and patchouli. It “combines scents from the Gulf’s culture, history and heritage. The narrative for the perfume is based on travelling but always returning, bounded to our roots,” she explains.
Since 2015, Amna has created a niche for herself in the busy world of perfumery by focusing on unisex scents that use the most luxurious ingredients, while also being environmentally conscious and cruelty-free. As well as the newest scent, at the debut store on Wasl Road you can find top seller No.9 Vanilla Pod, and the highly sought after Edition 2 collection, the Dark Series.
The minimal cool packaging was recently reworked to make it more sustainable: “Complementing the cruelty, paraben and chemical free fragrances, we have also introduced new sustainable packaging which consists of pouches made from recycled materials in the UAE,” she adds.
‘Bounded’ is Dhs700 (+5% VAT) and comes complete with a 100ml fragrance bottle as well as a smaller every day 15ml bottle for on-the-go.
