This is the first time Egyptian designer Maha Rasheed has created a dedicated resort line, and her aim was to captures an idea of a sun-soaked summer vacation. Bambah Beach follows the same aesthetics of the main Bambah RTW line and has an equal wow effect, but with a more relaxed twist making the pieces more suitable for every day wear and jet setting.

“I noticed that resort wear and beach wardrobes are now trending more than ever and people are looking for elegant beach outfits to wear throughout summer so I thought it was a good time to jump on the bandwagon and turn my personal passion into a new division for Bambah” said Maha.

Expect elegant off the shoulder tops teamed with bold stripes and well-cut high-waisted shorts, retro floral prints, breezy kaftans and pleated dresses in bold colours. There is also a selection of light weight beach cover-ups to take you from pool to restaurant, flirty nautical stripes and elegant linen sets.

The collection uses natural fabrics as much as possible such as cotton poplin and linen in basic solids and a variety of print and colours which have a summery vibe. Not only that, but Maha has also focused on pieces that are size inclusive with a range of easy shapes that come in one-size styles that can go up to size UK 22.

“We wanted to create an easy to wear collection that can cater to women of different sizes and body shapes; that’s also easy to travel with, easy to care for and easy to transition from day to night with the right accessories,” she adds.
