Dr Raja is the Managing Director of one of UAE’s leading business conglomerates, the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group.
The autobiography charts the growth of Dubai and tells the story of one of the region’s most respected female business leaders.
Dr Raja was listed as one of the 100 most powerful Arabs in 2018 by Gulf Business, and also won the Gulf Business, businesswoman of the year award in 2016.
The book follows Dr Raja’s career, showing the business leader’s steadfast commitment and determination, and provides an insightful account of how she overcame challenges, inspiring a generation of young women leaders.
Prior to her current role, Dr Raja worked as head teacher. “Working in education. I learned discipline, I learned how to manage time, I learned how to deal with people,” Dr Raja Al Gurg commented at the launch of her book.
