Despite his recent Twitter spat with Prince Alwaleed bin Talal of Saudi, and his name supposedly being removed from billboards, Donald Trump is back in Dubai.

The controversial businessman, TV personality and frontrunner for the Republican nomination has made a return to the Middle East as Damac’s Akoya golf property replaced Donald Trump’s trademark gold letters on its billboard and on the wall.

It was thought, or rather hoped by many, that the American politician’s name would remain off the company’s artwork following Trump’s shocking statement that he would ban Muslims from entering the United States should he be elected – he said there would be a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the US”.

Despite Akoya  continuing business with Trump, they aren’t too happy to discuss the current controversy with one spokesperson for Damac saying: “We cannot comment on anything related to Donald Trump.”

However, while Damac may be continuing their relationship with the businessman, retail giant Lifestyle are still sticking by their decision to stop selling Trump products in all 195 of their stores across the Middle East.

UAE billionaire businessman Khalaf al-Habtoor is also finishing his relationship with Trump (they had plans to build a hotel and tower in Dubai together), telling the Associated Press: “If he comes to my office, I will not let him in. I reject him.”

Donald Trump’s name is attached to many businesses and projects across the region but in Istanbul a change is underway with the Apprentice star’s name potentially being removed from the high-rise Trump towers Mall.

“We are currently assessing the legal aspects of our relationship with the brand name,” said Bulent Kural, the general manager of the Trump Towers Istanbul.

While Damac might be standing by him, something tells us this is the end for Trump in the Middle East…

5 Stupid Things Donald Trump Has Ever Said:

1. On Arianna Huffington’s husband leaving her

.@ariannahuff is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision.

2. On racism

Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.

3. On Robert Pattinson (yep, really. He has an opinion on the actor’s love life)

Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!

4. On being politically correct

While @BetteMidler is an extremely unattractive woman, I refuse to say that because I always insist on being politically correct.

5. On stopping 9/11

I believe that If I were running things, I doubt that those people [referring to the terrorists, who carried out the attacks] would have been in the country.
