With in-person fashion shows back, Dior’s latest Spring/Summer Haute Couture 2022 collection highlighted elegance through every aspect.
By preceding the norms of design, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the house’s creative director, ensured the pieces were nothing short of distinctive on the runway as they took place at the Musée Rodin in Paris on January 24, 2022.
From jacquard dresses to pleated skirts, the collection celebrated the atelier through every aspect. Several embroidered sets were also immaculately tailored, ensuring neutral hues remained a constant throughout the collection.
As couture continues to take on a new meaning season after season, Dior’s luxurious pieces always preserve the long-standing heritage which the house is known for.
With monotone gowns, suits and cocktail dresses taking center stage, the feminine collection highlighted each movement of the body, with its own hint of shimmer and sparkle highlighted on each look.
Each piece bridges the gap between art and couture displaying form-fitting through every aspect.
Created to showcase several seasonless pieces, the day-to-night dressing became a staple element throughout the show. Various celebrities also attended the show including the likes of Chiara Ferragani, Karen Wazen, Cara Delevingne and many more.
