Tracing back to its in-depth connection to the Middle East, John Galliano, the Creative Director of the house back in 2004, was inspired by an aerial tour of Egypt with monumental motifs of the Valley of the Kings, Cairo, Aswan and Luxor which was then presented through his collection back then.
With Dior, later on, moving to display its Spring/Summer 2019 haute couture collection in Dubai, the house has a long-standing history which it continues to cherish through its works and recent innovations as it embraces Middle Eastern elements through every display.

Complimented by creations from other creative directors including the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Raf Simons, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Maison’s notable history will make its way back to the exhibition with signature pieces and decorative works of art that were from the collections of Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
The exhibition will take place at M7, which is an epicentre of innovation in design and fashion, located in Msheireb Downtown Doha, from November 2021 until March 2022.
