On your marks, get set and let’s roll at the relaxed little Japanese joint, Chez Sushi. A sushi bar offering decent Californian rolls, sashimi and a new twist on Asian at Al Wasl Square.
The sushi counter goes all couture! You can custom order a roll in four easy steps. Start with either white or brown rice – extra bonus points from us for the healthier, starch offering. Plus there’s a multitude of raw and cooked fish, meat options and vegetables to fill it with. You finish off, by choosing your toppings and dressings – think yuzu, ginger or wasabi mayo.

They also offer some great salads like a seared salmon with yuzu dressing and the tuna with lemon. We also loved the rock shrimp tempura, it had a lovely crunch and freshness and comes with a deliciously tangy sauce.

Once you’ve got your platter of sushi, take a load off and set yourself down on an edamame or maki cushion under the tobiko lights – interiors with a fun sense of humour!
