Embracing the charitable nature during Ramadan, Diesel Kid is producing a limited edition teddy bear to support The Help Center, a charity in Saudi Arabia.
The adorable blue, denim teddy complete with leather belly and paws – it is a fashion toy, darling! – has been produced as part of a charitable campaign by Diesel Kid with 100 per cent of proceeds going to The Help Center, which helps children in need in the Middle East region.
The teddies are exclusively available at the Diesel Kid store in Jeddah’s Boulevard and retail for SAR299 (Dhs293) each. In addition to this, Diesel Kid will generously match the total amount raised.
Commenting on the Diesel Kid Ramadan Initiative Tarek Barakat, Diesel’s Marketing Director in the Middle East said: “Our collaboration with The Help Center aspires to not only support the charity financially through the sale of the Diesel Kid teddy bears, but to also raise awareness of the great work this institution has been doing in local communities to a wider audience.”
The Help Center is a non-profit organization in Saudi Arabia that is dedicated to providing help services to persons with intellectual disabilities from as early as birth to young adulthood. It supports them with services not available in hospitals and regular schools, in order to attain a rightful place in society as an empowered and independent citizen of a larger community.
Fashion with a conscience is our type of fashion, and who could refuse this adorable teddy?!
