The annual Cannes Film Festival is officially back for 2022.
A-list stars flocked to the red carpet in the South of France for the opening ceremony and it’s safe to say they delivered in the style stakes.
In particular, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone stole the show wearing a dazzling sari by Indian designer Sabyasachi.
The glittering ensemble featured block printed black and gold stripes, representing the Bengal Tiger, the sari celebrates the heritage of Padukone’s home country. The star also accessorised her outfit with pieces from Sabyasachi’s jewellery line.

For her makeup, Padukone opted for heavy eyeliner, a neutral base and nude lip.
While Padukone certainly stole the show on the red carpet, the stars turned out in their masses for the opening ceremony.
