In place of the virtual presentations taking place during Paris Haute Couture week, British jeweller David Morris has partnered with Farfetch to launch unique pieces featuring the world’s most coveted gemstones in its Renaissance High Jewellery collection.

With a first-of-its-kind collaboration that paves the way, this collection is an ode to the far and wide travels of designer Jeremy Morris in search of nature’s rarest. From Australian boulder opals created in matching hues to Colombian emeralds in large cuts with very small corners, each extraordinary new piece is created to uncover the Maison’s rarest and most timeless one-off designs.

Speaking on the new collection, Morris explained what it takes to create one piece in the collection.

“It takes around three to four months to create a piece, but we can spend a year designing something,” he said. “I don’t like to rush just because I’ve got the stones; I prefer to wait until the inspiration comes.”

Some of our hero pieces from the collection include:

18kt white gold Trillium Akoya pearl & white diamond necklace
