Daria Kantor, Founder & Director of TruBe, the on-demand personal training app shares her morning to evening beauty routine.

Talk us through your morning routine.

My morning routine is all about self-care and energy. I wake up at 6:30am, enjoying a moment of calm before the day’s hustle. A revitalising cold shower kickstarts my energy, followed by a comforting cup of ginger tea. My morning skincare essentials, ‘Révive Renewal cream with an SPF 30’ and Skin Design Vitamin C serum, help me hydrate and give my skin a
radiant boost. I always make time for a personalised morning workout at home, vital for my overall wellbeing. The workouts are tailored depending on my energy levels, with the guidance of TruBe’s outstanding experts.

How does your evening routine differ?

I finish my days late since we recently expanded TruBe in Los Angeles, so my evening routine is designed for relaxation. I enjoy a late-night bath with magnesium salts and calming oils like lavender. Scents play a significant role in helping me prepare for a serene night’s sleep; I make it a point to light a candle before tending to my skincare routine. For skincare, I keep it simple with La Mer body cream and the Sleeping Beauty face mask by Skin Design.

What are your go-to skincare products?

My go-to skincare products are an integral part of my healthy lifestyle. I prioritise my skin’s wellbeing with a daily face wash using Révive and Dr Hauschka products, which are my favourites. These morning and evening rituals help me maintain a fresh and radiant complexion. In addition to my cleansing routine, I include a gentle Nuxe Tonic Very Rosewater, another top-used skincare product, in my regimen. It adds that extra touch of rejuvenation and helps keep my skin looking its best. I’m also a fan of various serums catering to different skincare aspects. They allow me to target specific concerns and enhance my overall skincare routine.

Are you a fan of masks?

Masks have become a cherished part of my skincare routine, especially since I’m constantly moving due to my frequent travels. One mask I adore is the 111SKIN Cryo De-Puffing Mask, which works wonders for combating the effects of travel fatigue. However, my ultimate go-to is my trusty LED light mask, a true lifesaver during my journeys.

How would you describe your relationship with makeup?

My relationship with makeup is refreshingly uncomplicated. Due to my busy lifestyle, which involves selecting trainers for TruBe, I prefer to keep my makeup minimal throughout the day. Even in the evenings, simplicity remains key.

What can always be found in your makeup bag?

You’ll always find a trusty lip balm in my makeup bag by Terry – the Baume de Rose.

Which is your favourite fragrance currently?

I usually stick with my favourite perfume, Coromandel by Chanel, but recently, I’ve fallen in love with Kilian Parfum’s Angels’ Share. It’s added a fresh and exciting dimension to my fragrance collection. Lately, I’ve been particularly drawn to Le Lion by Chanel.

Talk us through your hair routine.

My hair routine revolves around hydration and protection, especially in London’s cold weather. I’ve been favouring Tokio Inkarami lately, particularly their 3-step Japanese hair treatment system. It works wonders in keeping my hair hydrated and nourished.

What is the most unusual item in your makeup bag?

The most unusual item in my makeup bag isn’t makeup – it’s a collection of essential oils. I’m a big fan of these oils and
carry different varieties to suit my mood and needs. For instance, when braving London’s cold winter months or travelling extensively in air-conditioned environments, I always have Ravintsara oil.
