Model Cara Delevigne and Kendall Jenner during the Chanel Metiers dArt Collection

Emirates Woman was one of the few titles to get exclusive access to the Chanel Salzburg Métiers d’Art show held in the Rococo Palace, Schloss Leopoldskron, Salzburg in December, and now the powers that be have decided to bring the supremely successful pre-autumn/winter 2015-16 presentation stateside with an illustrious event to be held on March 31.

When Cara Delevingne and BFF Kendall Jenner walked into the Rococo Palace hand-in-hand wearing the autumn/winter Chanel collection, we all knew it was going to be the season’s most talked about show. Now, thanks to much popular demand among the fashion elite, the French luxury brand, led by creative director Karl Lagerfeld, announced it will be repeating its recent Métiers d’Art show in New York City at the end of March.

So far the location of the show is top secret as is the models who will present the collection. The December show, which saw Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne miss their debut spot on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk, also starred Lara Stone while celebrity guests included French star Caroline de Maigret, actress Actress Rooney Mara, singer Lily Allen, and model Alice Delall.

While the show won’t have the historical and grandiose backdrop of the Austrian palace sources claim it will be just as decadent and access to the show will be tightly restricted to private clients and selected press. There is no word yet if King Karl will allow a live stream of the event.

After the Big Apple, Karl Lagerfeld will be racking up his air miles, jet-setting to South Koreancapital Seoul to unveil Chanel’s resort 2016 collection at the Zaha Hadid-designed Dongdaemun Design Plaza on May 4. Sources have also revealed that Lagerfeld has chosen the Eternal City of Rome for the next Métiers d’arts collection, scheduled for December 1. Previous destinations for the Métiers d’Art shows, aside from Salzburg, include Dallas and Edinburgh.
