There have been some rumours circling the fashion hemisphere that the luxury French house Chanel could be up for sale.
Even if the speculations are true it is hard to imagine who has a spare 100 billion euros to spend on the Maison, at least that’s the rough figure the analysts have estimated.

Ever since the death of the legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld in February, there has been further talk on the future of the iconic brand owned by LVMH. The first whisper of the sale came last year after the company released their financial report.
The luxury conglomerate has refused to comment while the spokesperson for Chanel has said in March that they have no plans to sell. From where we’re sitting, we think that the owners of Fendi, Dior and the recently launched Maison Fenty by Rihanna have nothing to worry about.
