If you are a fan of Canadian legend, Celine Dion then you can soon watch her live without having to jet all the way to Las Vegas. Yesterday, the 51-year-old announced her new world tour an album titled Courage, which was inspired life after the death of her husband.

The pop-diva has been performing in Las Vegas on and off since 2003. However, last year, she revealed that her current residency in the city would end on June 8. Now with this chapter of her life coming to an end, Celine is ready for a new adventure. She made the announcement at a packed special fan event at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, saying, “I think it’s time for a change, time to hit the road.”

Celine will embark on the ‘Courage’ tour in Quebec City, Canada in September and it will be her first United States tour in 10 years. She also said that her 12th studio album, which is also called Courage will be released sometime in November. “It’s going to be the Celine that you know,” she said of the upcoming album. “Celine at 51. The Celine that you know. The Celine with producers and writers she’s worked with. It’s the Celine with new producers and new songwriters. … The sound will change a little bit, and music changes. But I will always remain who I am.”

The mother-of-three said that the album title was inspired by her late husband and manager, Rene Angelil, who passed away in 2016 death from throat cancer. “When I lost Rene, he wanted me back on stage. He wanted to make sure I was still practicing my passion,” she said. “I wanted to prove to him that I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re going to be ok. I’ve got this.”

After the announcement, the five-time Grammy winner performed a few songs including I’m Alive and the Titanic’s hit song My Heart Will Go On. Celine stunned at the event in a mini-black ruffled dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, from his Fall 19 ready-to-wear collection.

This is not the first time that the 51-year-old wears Elie Saab this week. Early this week, L’Oreal Paris announced Céline as their newest global spokesperson. She is set to make her debut for the beauty giant as the face of the Excellence Hair Color advertising, released later this month. At the announcement, she wore a stripped suit from the Lebanese designers ready-to-wear Spring collection.
