The new homegrown neighbourhood eatery Caya is going to be our culinary escape to the glittering shores of the Mediterranean.

Located in the heart of Nshama Town Square, Dubai, it aims to build a community to celebrate the simple pleasures in life: family, food and fun.

Let’s set the scene. As you enter the airy dining space you will be welcomed by south European style interiors filled with natural materials and tranquil, warm tones. The venue is surrounded by a peaceful park and greenery which inspired the concept of nature, foliage and freshness. Elements of the great outdoors can be enjoyed whilst sat outside on the spacious terrace looking out onto the natural, evergreen landscape.

Open from 8am to 11pm, Caya (which peans “pure” in Greek) guarantees to provide you with a cosy Mediterranean experience through its seasonal chef specials, unique dishes and the freshest ingredients at accessible prices.

For breakfast a must-try is a Royal Shaksuka, while for lunch we highly recommend Vongole Linguini, the most delicate clams layered in a lemon butter sauce, served on top of the freshest linguini pasta. Keep it light and fresh by selecting from a wide variety of salads including Summer Time, a watermelon and strawberry salad with feta cheese mousse finished off with a generous sprinkle of pine seeds and pomegranate.

The weekends are filled with acoustic entertainment, chef specials, BBQ nights otherwise you can quickly swing by for a fresh cup of coffee where you can pick up a loaf of freshly baked bread in the morning.

With dishes priced from Dhs35 to Dhs95, Caya sounds like the perfect chill spot to enjoy the best of the cooler months.
