It’s glitzy, it’s glam, it’s the biggest A-list event on the sporting calendar and it’s celebrating its 10th anniversary – the Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge is here! For those who don’t know, the Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge means a whole lot of sun, sports, fashion and handsome men on horseback (sigh). The prestigious event will be held at the gorgeous Desert Palm Retreat and Polo Club, where the crème de la crème of society, royalty and international A-list celebs (former guests include model Poppy Delevingne, actor Olivier Martinez and legendary shoe designer Christian Louboutin) will be hosted.

The highly anticipated cup final, which takes place this coming Saturday (February 21), will see the teams (Cartier Red, Cartier White, Desert Palm, UAE Team, Abu Dhabi, Guards) battling it out on the field to win the prestigious trophy. However, the event isn’t all about horses, fast action and divot stomping, it’s also one of the biggest events on the social calendar too with spectators invited to enjoy the Gold Lounge where they can rub shoulders with the region’s elite and sway to the sounds of a live DJ throughout the day and into the night.

As well as the DJ, and polo, of course, other entertainment includes a cheerleading display and a fashion show on the field. Attendees of the event will also be treated to an exclusive preview of the new Cartier watch collection, including the unisex Clé de Cartier watch. If that wasn’t exciting enough Emirates Woman will be at the event taking photos of the best dressed spectators, so grab your wedges, a floral dress and statement sunnies, and join tus at one of the most prestigious events of the year.
