Just weeks after confirming their engagement, Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz and rockstar Benji Madden have tied the knot.Actress Cameron Diaz, 42, and Good Charlotte band member Benji Madden, 35, married yesterday in an intimate ceremony held in a glamorous large marquee at the blonde beauty’s Beverly Hills Home. “I waited because I didn’t want to settle,” said Cameron, according to a Daily Mail source. “Now I got the best man ever. My special man. He’s mine.”

An exclusive affair only around 120 family and friends were invited. Star studded guests included Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samantha Ronson and Robin Antin. Benji’s brother Joel and his wife Nicole Richie were also in attendance with their son, Sparrow, acting as an adorable ring bearer – he apparently dropped the ring and it rolled around the floor, much to the amusement of the wedding guests. Cameron’s bridesmaids included her sister Chimene, her assistant Jesse Lutz, bestie Drew Barrymore, with whom she famously co-starrred in the film adaptation of Charlie’s Angels, and new sister-in-law Nicole Richie.
It is believed the big day was arranged by celebrity wedding planner Yifat Oren, who has also reportedly planned ceremonies for Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman.

Sources claim Benji, who was first romantically linked with Cameron back in May 2014, popped the question just before Christmas and the couple hoped to to keep the ceremony a secret under the guise of a pre-Golden Globes bash with a rehearsal dinner on Sunday night.

While many will see the relationship as a whirlwind affair, the speed of the marriage actually fits in with Cameron’s ideal, as she once explained: “The mystique and the romance of a big wedding are lost on me. I don’t think that I could ever do something that extravagant. I am not much of a planner. I would probably make the phone call 20 minutes before the bus leaves for the chapel and ask if anyone is available to come. That’s probably how my wedding is going to end up.”
While Cameron was no Bridezilla, Benji admitted: “I only asked to be in control of two things: The music and the cake.”

Proving their star power, the post-ceremony entertainment involved serenades from mega stars Ryan Adams and Lionel Richie while DJ Patrick Belton hit the decks providing tunes for the night.
Although the former model has dated a number of celebrity hunks including Justin Timberlake, Paul Sculfor and Jared Leto, this is her first marriage. While Madden was previously engaged to Sophie Monk it is also his first time down the aisle.
