We know summer is upon us, but we’re not ready to shed our winter layers just yet, especially if they’re by British designer of Syrian descent Mariam Al-Sibai.
Already loved by Gigi Hadid and Priyanka Chopra, Al-Sibai obtained her fashion design degree from FIDM in Los Angeles before launching the brand in 2017. Her pieces are a tribute to pure artisanal craftsmanship, focusing on outerwear made from exquisite fabrics.

“There is something special about a designer falling in love with the fabrics they choose and finding buttons and all sorts of trims to cut, drape and sew in order to complete a first sample,” she explains.
Inspired by the arts and diversity in culture, her pieces transcend trends yet never look out of style. Designed to seamlessly fit into your wardrobe, they are cosy and chic and are ideal for making you feel well put together – even if you’re having one of those “I don’t know what to wear” days.

“Our pieces are not age specific. Personally, I love rummaging through my mother and grandmother’s wardrobes to find vintage classics because to me, timeless fashion can be worn by all age groups. We produce garments that will fit two completely different women but both look equally as beautiful,” she adds.
Seen on both Gigi and Priyanka, as well as regional influencers Rania Fawaz and Oumayma Elboumeshouli, the relaxed fit works just as well for a laid back airport look, as it does with an evening dress. Our personal favourite? We’re throwing it back to the Matrix and opting for her vegan leather black trench coat.
