Our favourite Hollywood it girl Blake Lively is back and so are her winning fashionable looks. The Gossip Girl actress made her red-carpet comeback yesterday, rocking a glamorous Dolce & Gabbana gown and 50 cart jewellery – because she can.
In her new film, The Rhythm Section, Blake plays a spy, donning different wigs and taking on bad guys and her look for the New York premiere reflected the edginess of her character. The actress turned heads in an off-the-shoulder black velvet gown by Dolce & Gabbana, which she paired with dramatic leather opera gloves. Her dress featured a slit long enough to flaunt her over the knee “Fabiola” Christian Louboutin boots.

Despite all the drama, the highlight of Blake’s look was in the details. To complete her old-Hollywood glam look, the actress wore a 50 carat emerald and pearl necklace by none other than Lorraine Schwartz. The pendant included a a 50-carat Colombian emerald wrapped around a South Sea pearl link chain. Talk about a statement piece!
