When it comes to celebrities, it’s more often than not assumed that having endless paparazzi following you around comes with the territory.

However, what we may not realise is the relentless stalking that goes into getting “the shot” and A-list actress Blake Lively has had enough of it.

Lifting the lid on the dark side the paparazzi, the actress took aim at the Daily Mail Australia on their Instagram page, detailing the “deceitful” nature of their post about a series of photographs that were captured whilst she was out with her three children she has with husband Ryan Reynolds – James, Betty and Inez.

The publication shared a photo of the actress on Instagram smiling and waving at the camera. However, the real story behind the photos is far more than what it seemed.

Directly commenting on the post Lively wrote, “You edit together these images together to look like I’m happily waving. But that is deceitful.”

“The real story is: My children were being stalked by a man all day. Jumping out. And then hiding,” she continued. “A stranger on the street got into words with them because it was so upsetting for her to see. When I tried to calmly approach the photographer you hired to take these pictures in order to speak to him, he would run away. And jump out again at the next block.

“Do you do background checks on the photographers you pay to stalk children? Where is your morality here? I would like to know. Or do you simply not care about the safety of children?”

Lively then directly addressed the picture that was posted, explaining, “The photographers who would speak to me, I was able to agree to smile and wave and let them take my picture away from my children, if they would leave my children alone — because it was frightening.”

She concluded her comment by saying publications like this should stop paying photographers “to hide and hunt children”, adding, “There are plenty of pictures you could’ve published without the kids. Please delete. C’mon. Get with the times.”

The Daily Mail Australia has since deleted the Instagram post, but Lively’s comment was captured by popular Instagram page Comments By Celebs.

Just recently Lively’s friend and fellow mother, Gigi Hadid, issued an open letter on Instagram to the paparazzi asking them to refrain from taking photos of her daughter’s face.

“Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen,” she said.
