One of the downfalls of being a celebrity is being attacked by the media and trolled by the public, unfortunately it seems to come part of the territory. It’s something Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are all to aware of however when the nastiness turned toward their daughter, there was a huge backlash.
Poor North West was the victim of “gross” media coverage by music trade magazine Billboard who tweeted a picture of the tot being held by her Kim Kardashian while eating a lollipop. The picture caption read: “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
While the image was linked to a story about North telling photographers “no pictures,” many felt the caption and picture chosen were inappropriate.
The image and caption remained on Twitter for two hours until angry responses forced Billboard to remove it. At that point it was online for nine hours.
The story online, didn’t fair any better with the headline reading: “North West Fires Off Adorably Sassy Comment To Paparazzi: ‘I Said No Pictures.'”

A video embedded in the story shows Kanye’s little girl exhibiting familiarity in dealing with the media. While walking into a ballet class with her nanny, the paparazzi can be seen chasing after the tot who takes charge of the situation and says: “I said no pictures.”
While Billboard were most likely referring to her bold and confident attitude, calling a two-year-old sassy was just a step too far – the comment that did not go down well with the public.
One reader lashed out, saying: “Well this is disgusting,” While another insisted: “Delete this tweet immediately.”
Another added: “ Billboard really are garbage for that.”
