With Paris Haute Couture 2015 coming to an end today we reveal our top pictures from the extravagant event, and it’s not all about the catwalks…
This year’s Paris Haute Couture show, one of the most prestigious events in the style calendar, was a perfect expression of French national pride after the recent ‘terrorist’ atrocities that shock the country’s capital to its very core. Proving ever defiant the fashion industry put on it’s boldest, bravest and most bolshie shows, attracting a plethora of sartorially savvy celebrities and street style aficionados in the process, meaning the attention wasn’t always on the incredible catwalk shows.
Here are some of our favourite images from Paris Haute Couture:
KARL AND HIS POSSE (above)
Karl Lagerfeld looked more than content with his famous admirers and muses Alice Dellal, Vanessa Paradis and Kristen Stewart, who are all the new faces for his latest handbag campaign. The campaign will be released in April 2015.
NAOMI CAMPBELL STILL THE SUPERMODEL
It was clear at the Jean Paul Gaultier show that Naomi Campbell is still queen of the supermodels even at 44.
Actress Goldie Hawn couldn’t hide her admiration for her daughter Kate Hudson‘s rocking physique at the Versace show. The 69-year-old drew attention to Kate’s pert derriere as any proud mother would… well, Hollywood mother.
With all the media attention on Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner lately, mum Kris Jenner decided to pull out all the stops to ensure the focus was on her. Dressed head-to-toe in Chanel – fashion fail number one – the 59 year old sported see through trousers that would be hard to pull off for someone half her age. Meow!
Momma Jenner should take some fashion inspiration from the this street style stars. A shout out has to go to photographer StreetoPode who captured some great looks.
ELIE THE GREAT
Elie Saab proved himself to the be the king of couture with some of the most spectacular gowns in fashion history.

JE SUIS REBEL
On Aura Tout Vu sent a masked model down the runway to protest against violence. Of course, in the spirit of haute couture, the model was decked in sequins.
After the shows there’s the parties – Kate Hudson joined Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and editor Derek Blasberg for a night on the tiles.
