The Emirati-Yemeni singer opted for a soft pink ball-gown from Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco, while performing a medley of hits in honour of the UAE’s 47th National Day celebrations.

The gown radiated femininity with its full pleated skirt, dress-coat inspired bodice, and bright colors, ensuring that Balqees stood out during the celebrations. The star completed the look with a simple high ponytail, light makeup with shadowed lids, and diamond earring – so nothing took away from the drama of the dress.
She shared pictures of the dress with her Instagram followers, saying that it was “Like cotton candy.”
