Rachel-Hamilton

A lover of all things “silly”, her stories are a source of joy and fun

CV: When she isn’t busy writing hit children’s books (Rachel is the author of The Case of the Exploding Loo and The Case of the Exploding Brains), Rachel visits schools in the UAE and the UK to talk about the power of storytelling.

Where it began: “I’ve always wanted to be an author. I had a few stories published in newspapers and magazines as a child, then I wrote as a hobby while doing ‘proper’ jobs in my 20s. About five years ago I started writing full time.”

Proud moment: “There have been so many; getting a book deal, holding a copy in my hand, winning awards… but probably the best feeling is seeing the kids’ reactions.”
