Dubai-based Aussie blogger, Kat Lebrasse of lebrasse.com, takes to the streets of Downtown Dubai wearing a trio of tonal blues.
From navy through to teal, Kat’s look is a masterclass on how to rock the colour clash.
She keeps the look fresh with a white denim jacket by Gap, which she says is “a must-have every woman’s wardrobe”.
We caught up with Kat to find out her style saviours and trends to try for the season ahead…
Describe your personal style?
My style is eclectic. It changes daily depending on my mood, however I like to maintain a sense of femininity and don’t take myself too seriously. I like to mix high street with luxury labels, vintage and bespoke pieces to create an overall look.
What are your favourite A/W13 trends?
This season, navy blue is the new black, so I’ll be going back to blue with mannish tailoring. To balance this out, pink will play a big part in my new season wardrobe, as I can’t resist the ultimate girly hue. I’ll also jump on the tartan trend!
What’s your top tip for styling your body shape?
I like to dress in what makes me feel good. Comfort is key, so you’ll rarely find me in overly fitted, skin-tight ensembles.
If you could style anyone, who would it be?
I love and appreciate that everyone has their own style, however I’d love to dress Jessica Alba. She epitomises a very classic look, but I’d love to see wearing more daring outfits!
Who do you get your style inspiration from?
My style is derived from a broad and diverse range of sources, including art, trends, street style and location. I’m constantly online, checking out Instagram and Pinterest for sartorial inspiration!
