On January 28th Dubai Design District opens the third edition of Men’s Arab Fashion Week. The three-day event aims to position Dubai as a fashion hub.

The Arab Fashion Council has partnered with d3 to showcase men’s ready-to-wear fashion creating a platform for menswear designers in the region.

A schedule of live shows running from 6 pm – 10 pm over the 3 days, that will also be broadcast virtually via Meta.

There will be a focus on locally made garments and the global export of them. The program will showcase regional, and international designers including Amato, Michael Cinco, Anomalous, Tagueule, Maison du Mec, Emergency Room, Ahmed Amer, Zaid Faroiki, Born in Exile, Valette Studio and Asher Levine.

This Fashion Week will not only showcase menswear but also create a community where local and international creatives can create a platform to share their designs globally.

Ahead of the next Arab Men’s Fashion Week kicking off, Khadija Al Bastaki, Executive Director of Dubai Design District (d3), discussed the development of the relationship between d3 and the Arab Fashion Council.

“It is part of d3’s genetic makeup to rethink the regular – innovation is our driving force,” she said. “The strategic partnership between Dubai Design District and the Arab Fashion Council paves the way for such opportunities, contributing to the sustainable development and growth of the region’s fashion industry, especially when it comes to expanding the narrative around menswear.

“Our region is home to a number of noteworthy labels who are rewriting the rules on men’s fashion and we are delighted to showcase them on a larger scale.”
