While an average misplacing around an average of nine items a day according to experts, your iPhone can lead you straight to your AirTag if it’s located nearby with the precision finding technology, pointing you towards its direction, thanks to the ultra-wideband technology.
As systems continue to evolve, this new age technology sends out a Bluetooth signal which is detected in the Find My Network arena, sending the location of the AirTag to the iCloud system, allowing you to see it on a map on Find My app, while also activating a lost mode when an item is left behind.
With the entire process being anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy, you need not worry about invasion of data amid finding your long-lost items without your location data and history never being stored on the AirTag itself.
