Hollywood star Amy Adams reprises her role as the face of the luxurious Italian brand Max Mara for a second season.
The Max Mara Group has chosen the Big Eyes star, who has become a regular favourite on the red carpet, to front it’s spring/summer 2015 collection of accessories and sunglasses.
Renowned fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti snapped Amy Adams in a New York studio against a simple suede background. The 40-year-old mother-of-one showcased Max Mara’s new Venzia bag as well as the trademark Tribute sunglasses whilst wearing caramel coloured coats that beautifully offset her flame coloured hair. Amy’s natural beauty was accentuated with warm toned cosmetics, which made for an eye-catching look.
The five-time Oscar nominee has played a variety of movie roles in her career, from a fairy princess in the Disney movie Enchanted to a con artist in American Hustle. Her role as a trend setter on the red carpet fast saw her become a favourite among designers with Max Mara signing her up as an ambassador in 2014.
The first celebrity to work with, and become the face of, Max Mara was Jennifer Garner, until she was replaced by Amy. Giorgio Guidotti, the president of Max Mara’s public relations, believes that including a successful Hollywood actress in their ad campaigns gives the brand a new timeless image.
