Beyonce’s not the only star expecting two babies this year.
Hollywood actor George Clooney and Lebanon-born human rights lawyer Amal have revealed they’re set to become first-time parents.
The couple, who wed in 2014 in Venice, will welcome twins this summer, according to US media reports.
George himself confirmed the news to The Talk‘s Julie Chen, the CBS host said on Thursday’s show.

“Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!” said Chen. “What we did find out is that the twins are due this June.”
The 55-year-old Oscar winner and the 39-year-old lawyer and activist are “very happy”, a source told People magazine.
The Clooneys’ representative has not yet issued a statement, but George’s long-time pal, actor Matt Damon, talked about his impending fatherhood this week.
“I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him. And I was like, ‘how far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘eight weeks,'” the Good Will Hunting star told ET Canada.

“I’m thrilled for him. She’s amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman. They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky.”
George and Amal met in 2013 before tying the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Italy the following year.
The Ocean’s Eleven star has previously spoken about how meeting his accomplished wife changed his life.
“All I know is that it sort of changed everything in terms of what I thought my future – my future personal future – was going to be,” he told People in 2015. “I’ve always been an optimist about the world.
“I wasn’t always completely optimistic about how it was going to work out personally for me. But now I am.”
