Heiress, socialite, gallery owner and rocker, it’s surprising that 26-year-old Alice Dellal even has time to add model to her impressive resume. Yet the young beauty has just signed up for her fourth collaboration with Chanel as the face of their S/S14 eyewear campaign.

The model has had a prolific career with the iconic brand ever since meeting designer Karl Lagerfeld back in 2012 on a photo shoot. Now a strong ambassador for the label, Dellal proves her style status in this sneak peek of Chanel’s S/S14 eyewear campaign, which is set to fully launch in April this year, and was shot by Lagerfeld himself.

Responsible for starting the trend of shaving one side of your head, Dellal at first seemed a strange choice for the fashion house, which is often associated with lady-like glamour. However, she has proved her worth by bringing a feminine and youthful approach to the campaign while simultaneously  injecting a modern and fun touch – we’re already lusting after the quirky thick rimmed and embellished frames that the model wears in the advert.

With such a talent for adapting her persona, its no wonder that Dellal has found such success within the fashion industry. Daughter of Brazilian supermodel Andrea Dellal, she is clearly following in her mother’s footsteps, starting her career in 2003 and appearing in a French Vogue editorial the same year she became a muse for famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. Her next major success was replacing Kate Moss as the body for luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur and from there she has walked her way through top ad campaigns, catwalk shows and editorials alike.

Dellal is also a firm figure on the London social scene where she heralds the likes of Georgia May Jagger and Daisy Lowe as friends. She is also accompanied by her clearly, very talented siblings – her sister Charlotte of Charlotte Olympia is fast becoming one of the world’s top shoe designers and one of her brothers, Alex, runs London’s hot spot 20 Hoxton Square.
