Dubbed “beautiful” and a “phenomenon” by Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour it’s no wonder London It girl, Alexa Chung, has bagged yet another high fashion campaign. This time around you’ll find the model, presenter and author modelling the new spring collection for Longchamp.

Following in Coco Rocha’s (the former face of Longchamp) fashionable footsteps, 30-year-old Alexa was flown to the glamorous St Tropez to shoot the vibrant and fresh ready-to-wear collection. With her just-got-out-of-bed locks, iconic eyeliner flick and trademark smile, Alexa brought her laidback charm to the luxury campaign.

“Alexa is smart, sparkling and stylish – the ultimate embodiment of the movement and energy that are at the heart of Longchamp”, says Longchamp’s Marie-Sabine Leclercq, Head of Global Communications. “She totally represents our vision.”

Expect to see the full advertising campaign of the Hampshire-born star in January when the collection launches in store.

Five things you didn’t know about Alexa Chung:

She’s worn an eye line cat-eye flick everyday since the age of 17. “I started doing this cat-eye flick when I was about 17 and I do it every single day, so I’ve had years of practice.”

Since her spilt with Artic Monkey’s Alex Turner She’s been romantically linked with Jared Leto, The Strokes’ guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. and American model RJ King.

She’s wants her own fashion line. She may be the face of plethora of brands but what she really wants to do is own her own clothing line. “You need loads of money to set up a label. It’s quite complicated and I have no idea how you do it. But that’s pretty much all I want.”

She loves wearing her onesie. She admitted to wearing her One Direction onesie while writing her debut book, It.

She likes to ‘keep it real’. “I look odd when I’m overly tanned, so bronzer has never been my thing. I don’t like anything false as I feel like I’m lying to myself”
