Ain Dubai has announced it will be temporarily closing from now until the Holy Month of Ramadan is over.
In a statement released on their official website, it was revealed world-record breaking attraction would be undergoing “periodic enhancements”, hence the need for a temporary shut down.
“For periodic enhancements, Ain Dubai will be closed from today and throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan,” the statement read. “Over the coming weeks and as part of our commitment to continuously develop the unrivalled guest experience, we will work closely with our customer team and key partners to introduce new and exciting offerings bound to wow visitors.”
The popular Dubai attraction, which has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors since opening in October last year, is scheduled to reopen during the Eid Al Fitr holiday weekend, which is predicted to fall around May 1, 2022.
Ain Dubai officially opened in October 2021 six years after construction for the project began in May 2015.
Located on Bluewaters Island, the structure reaches an astonishing height of up to 820 feet, making it the largest observation wheel in the world with three cabins including Observation, Social and Private cabins for different purposes depending on the occasion.
Tickets for Ain Dubai start from Dhs130.
