The latest rules have been updated by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, with the UAE capital being able to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to those with an expired residency or entry visa.

In order to ensure health and safety measures are of utmost priority in the capital, this new law was imposed on Friday to curb the spread of coronavirus and keep in mind the wellbeing of its residents.

In order to receive the free COVID-19 vaccine, a formal identification will be required even if it is expired to be used to register at the designated vaccination centres.

For those who wish to get tested for COVID-19, MoHAP’s virtual doctor is available online for any sort of medical help, as you can get tested or treat your symptoms at home.
