Behind every great star-studded event is an incredible gifting lounge, which is why, for the first time, Lumin in collaboration with FLASH Entertainment have announced they will launch a backstage VIP lounge at this year’s Abu Dhabi F1.
The new VIP lounge will be located in the backstage area of the du Arena with the artist alley becoming the place for the celebrities and VIP guests to visit, hangout and engage with a number of highly-coveted brands. The lounge will be a thriving hub for the stars both pre- and post-Yasalam’s after-race concerts between November 20–23.
“We’re excited to be back for our third year working with FLASH to host the artists and VIPs that visit the Capital during the Yasalam closing weekend. We’re even more excited that for the first time we will be located backstage at the du Arena. Our list of brands is once again jam-packed with fabulous names,” said Lumin’s General Manager Katherine Raso.

Arcadian Apparel – The first online T-shirt website that promotes and sells wearable art inspired by Emirati culture. The coveted designs are loved among fashion luminaries including celebrity designer Stefano Gabbana.
Mosaique – The Abu Dhabi-based store specialises in beautiful design, eclectic home décor, exquisite furniture and tasteful accessories.
Keek and Ethical Muse – Keek is a popular social media networking service, which allows billions of users to upload videos, will have their video application (loved by the Kardashians!) will be set up backstage so that the artists and their guests can film 36-second clips of them enjoying their experience. Keek has also partnered with local designers Ethical Muse to create the official 2014 VIP Lounge bag.
Balu Joias – A bespoke jewellery brand which uses a rich combination of Swarovski elements, leather, semi-precious stone, silver or 18ct gold-plated metals to make an audacious statement. For the VIP Lounge, Balu Joias has added an exclusive piece to the Lucky7 collection – a glazed horse shoe with crystal squares. The bracelet will be gifted to the artists, in a choice of colours from the UAE flag.
Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE – The internationally recognised award-winning beach club will be providing the entertainment in the VIP Lounge.
Lacoste Eyewear – Lacoste will be gifting the celebrities and VIP Lounge guests with sunglasses from their autumn/winter collection.
SPiN Dubai – The only place in Dubai where you’ll find designer ping pong tables in a classy bar environment. Founded by Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, SPiN Dubai will be offering VIP guests the opportunity to enjoy a game.
Bedashing – Official lounge partner Bedashing will be offering their fabulous beauty services to both the male and female guests. While the female VIPs can enjoy a heavenly mani/pedi or glam up their hands with some amazing nail art, the male guests can jump into the barber chair for a haircut or traditional wet shave.
