It’s one of the world’s richest horse races, so it’s no surprise that the Dubai World Cup also attracted a wealth of style.
The annual event took place on Saturday at the Meydan Racecourse, with royals, socialites and celebrities in attendance.
Unfortunately also in attendance was some inclement weather, with rain, winds and thunderstorms rattling the city.

However racegoers didn’t let it put them off pulling out all the style stops on the day, with many just adding a colourful umbrella to the mix.

Let’s start with the newly-crowned Best Dressed Female on the day (a title rightly earned). We’re particularly taken with the sheeny fabric, Fifties off-shoulder cut, and architectural origami-esque hat.
