The world’s largest Ferris wheel, luxury penthouses, Palm views… sign us up.
We’d be surprised if you haven’t noticed the enormous structure springing up off the coast of JBR.
The world’s largest observation wheel, Ain Dubai, has been in construction for some time, and we’ve just had a sneak peek at what the entire development will look like when complete.
Bluewaters Island, a Dhs6 billion project visible from The Beach, will have the gigantic 210-metre-tall wheel at its core, but it’s got more than a good view in store.
The man-made destination will offer waterfront living with more than 600 residences up for grabs, as well as hotels, restaurants and shops.

So, where to start?
Well, the most obvious attraction is Ain Dubai, which will have a diameter of 250 metres when finished and 48 spacious capsules.
The wheel, which is expected to open in 2018, can hold 1,400 visitors at a time, and a full circle will take 48 minutes to complete.
But that’s not all…
Bluewaters Island will be home to 10 residential towers, featuring 698 apartments and 17 townhouses, and the move-in date is slated for early 2018.
According to the recently released video clip, residents can access the island via a 265-metre pedestrian bridge from The Beach at JBR, an exit from Sheikh Zayed Road, or a monorail system.
